The Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University is seeking a Manager, WomenLead to contributes to the overall management and success of the program.

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Manager is a member of WomenLead's leadership team. The Manager contributes to the overall management and success of the program, including budgeting and other related financial responsibilities, strategy setting, coordination of resources, scheduling, and coordination of classes and program events, and serves as liaison to College committees. The Manager acts as the primary point of contact to resolve issues and recommends measures to improve the impact of WomenLead activities; leads projects as they are assigned in collaboration with the Director and Associate Director of Outreach; and undertakes special projects for the benefit of WomenLead and the University as a whole, including WomenLead classes and programming.

The Manager works with the WomenLead Director in the management and supervision of the Program's funds and has budget responsibility over a growing and more complex budget with multiple accounts. Other budget oversight duties include, but are not limited to: managing state, endowed, and grant funds; managing ongoing gifts; processing all invoices; making program purchases; coordinating resources; budget planning, reviews, and reporting; coordinating staff travel; and managing program contracts.

The Manager will supervise the Administrative Specialist, university assistants, and may supervise graduate student assistants. For the Administrative Specialist, this supervision includes completing performance reviews and approving time. For university assistants, this supervision includes managing the hiring process, conducting weekly team meetings, coordinating work assignments, and approving timecards. For graduate student assistants, this supervision may include working with various college departments for graduate student assistant hiring and coordinating work assignments.

The Manager, in collaboration with the Director and Associate Director of Outreach, will coordinate scheduling and logistics related to WomenLead classes and programming. Programs include but are not limited to: WomenLead Presents, student recruitment events, Advisory Board meetings, alumni events, WomenLead 2.0, keynote addresses, and fundraising events.

The Manager is responsible for supervising the Administrative Specialist in the creation of marketing materials for the program, as well as the implementation and maintenance of the program's social media strategy and interactive presence. The Manager will interface with Marketing and Communications (both college and university divisions) on event and marketing functions and updates to the WomenLead website.

The Manager will interface with GSU college schedulers on the scheduling of all WomenLead sections. The Manager will also serve as the first point of contact for enrollment and registration questions and concerns. The Manager will maintain program records related to WomenLead enrollment and program attendance and facilitate the program's recruitment email campaigns through Marketing Cloud.

USG Retirement

  • Optional Retirement Plan -- ORP is a 401(a) Defined Contribution Plan. Employees contribute 6% and USG contributes 9.24% to the plan. Employees are immediately vested.
  • Teacher Retirement System -- TRS is a Defined Benefit Plan, a traditional public pension plan. Employees contribute 6% and USG contributes 19.81% to the plan. Your retirement benefit is calculated by factoring years of service, final salary and 2% multiplier. Employees are vested after 10 years.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field and two years of supervisory/managerial experience; or a Bachelor's degree and four years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with budget management, payment processing, travel requests, and purchasing

  • Student engagement

  • Availability to work Tuesdays until 7 pm and occasional weekday evenings
