TTM is seekinga Parts, Materials & Processes Engineer I. Performing Parts, materials, and process engineering efforts assuring compliance to customer PM&P requirements across multiple programs with minimal supervision. General understanding of customer requirements and documentation of compliance through established PM&P engineering methods. Assist in root cause investigations.

  • Review and understand customer requirements as related to PM&P.
  • Review requests for new components to verify program requirements are satisfied.
  • Maintain qualified and preferred parts, materials and processes lists for use by the design team.
  • Research Bills of Material (BOMs) for new designs or design changes to document the required PM&P information, identify components that are obsolete, mature, and/or noncompliant with the product or program requirements.
  • Assist in the performance of development and qualification activities.
  • Create drawings consistent with TTM internal standards and program requirements.
  • Assist in the performance of material characterization and analysis with respect to the study of electronics hardware failure mechanisms.
  • Prepare ADPML and ABPML in accordance with program requirements under the direction of senior PM&P engineers
  • Review project End Item Data Packages for prohibited/restricted PMP, material scans and as-built PMP listings under the direction of senior PM&P engineers
  • Assist in PM&P support for design engineering, new product development teams, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain in resolving parts, materials and process related issues.
  • Develop PM&P plans and documents under the guidance of senior PM&P engineers
  • Assist in the preparation for, and participate in, internal or customer product design reviews , project kick-offs, CDRs (Critical Design Reviews) and periodic (weekly, monthly, etc) customer meetings as required.
  • Support and assit in root cause analysis investigations for PM&P related issues.
  • Assist in preparation for and participate in configuration control board meetings, as necessary
  • Accept direction from senior engineers and perform the work in the allotted time with appropriate documentation

  • Ability to work well within a group as well as independently to perform tasks
  • Ability to work under the guidance of experienced engineers.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle simultaneous assignments/tasks while producing quality work.
  • Familiar with structured problem solving and can effectively participate in root cause analysis.
  • Ability to act in the best interest of both TTM and TTM's customers.
  • Strong commitment to lifelong learning, willing and able to learn new skills.
  • Ability to make sound logical decisions and justify decisions/actions.
  • Self-motivated and goal oriented.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience 0-2 years
  • Experience with space-level requirements and programs are preferred.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, material science or related technical discipline

OTHER:

Must have a background that would permit the U.S. Department of Defense to issue a Secret clearance when necessary for work on a project that requires such a clearance.

Compensation and Benefits:

TTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs. Benefits are available on the 1st of the month following date of hire. For some positions, only PTO and holiday benefits are offered.

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

$75,028 - $125,047

Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition ofForeign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
