Exciting Opportunity at MSK: We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to support our Monmouth outpatient site in Middletown, New Jersey. This state-of-the-art facility delivers the same world-class cancer care as our New York City locations, offering multiple services in one convenient setting for our New Jersey patients.

Role Overview:

The Administrative Assistant will be a key member of our team, supporting site leadership and helping to create an organized, efficient, and welcoming environment. The responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the main point of contact for all site inquiries and connecting teammates to the appropriate resources
  • Managing event planning across the site, including Staff Appreciation Week, facility requests, and employee engagement activities
  • Collaborating with HR and other administrative counterparts to coordinate site-specific needs
  • Providing administrative support for site leadership, including calendar management and high-level meeting coordination
  • Coordinating and participating in meetings, creating/editing presentations, providing technical support, taking meeting minutes, and following up on action items
  • Supporting site-based projects and initiatives alongside leadership

Key Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in an administrative role supporting a team, ideally in a healthcare or office setting
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong judgment and the confidence to escalate issues when needed
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to serve as a point of contact for teammates

Core Skills:

  • Advanced Outlook calendar management and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Comfort with technology and the ability to troubleshoot issues in real time
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, including task tracking and project follow-up
  • Effective written and verbal communication

Additional Information:

  • Location: MSK Monmouth, Middletown, NJ
  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm (hybrid schedule, 4 days onsite required)

Pay Range: $26.21 - $39.24 FSLA Status: Non-Exempt
