As a Security Officer - Chemical Plant Patrols in Robert, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a chemical and petrochemical location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to employees, visitors, and contractors, and contribute to a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual conditions or activities within the location, particularly those relevant to a chemical or petrochemical environment.
• Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of personnel and vehicles in accordance with site requirements.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members regarding security-related matters.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in a timely and accurate manner as required by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
