Pantheon Data (a Kenific Holding company) is a private, small business based in the Washington, DC, area. Pantheon Data was founded in 2011, initially providing acquisition and supply chain management services to the US Coast Guard. Our service offerings have grown in the past ten years, including infrastructure resiliency, contact center operations, information technology, software engineering, program management, strategic communications, engineering, and cybersecurity. We have also grown our customer base to include commercial clients. The company has used this experience to expand our service offerings to other agencies within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Department of Defense (DoD), and other Federal Civilian Agencies.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic leader who leads by example. As Project Manager supporting the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Fast Response Cutter (FRC) Program, you will collaborate closely with senior USCG leadership to shape portfolio strategy, drive execution, and oversee a mix of recurring initiatives, deliverables, and ad hoc projects throughout the year. In this role, you will manage a team of employees and subcontractors, craft acquisition documentation, address inquiries from internal and external stakeholders, and provide seamless support for executive meetings.

Responsibilities



  • Lead and supervise project staff, ensuring high-quality execution of tasks that require precision, adaptability, and professional judgment
  • Provide strategic advisory support to functional subject matter experts on contractual and acquisition planning matters
  • Oversee the development, quality assurance, and delivery of briefing materials and executive-level documentation for meetings, conferences, and formal engagements
  • Manage the intake, control, and dissemination of program correspondence and records to support timely decision-making and information needs
  • Plan, develop, track, and maintain acquisition and project management documentation across the full lifecycle-from mission analysis and requirements development through sustainment
  • Actively manage project execution, client relationships, and team performance while coordinating with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Actively participates in business development efforts and growth of the business


Required Experience



  • S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree, though 10 years of experience may be substituted for an advanced degree
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive industry experience providing strategic advisory and program management support to senior government executives
  • Demonstrated experience in DoD and/or U.S. Coast Guard program management, with preference for ship design and integration, ship sustainment, or engineering management programs
  • At least 5 years of direct support to the U.S. Coast Guard strongly preferred; experience supporting other DoD components prioritized over non-Defense environments
  • Proven ability to lead and develop delivery teams, balancing performance expectations with strong, trust-based client relationships
  • Experience establishing, monitoring, and reporting cost, schedule, and performance metrics to drive program execution and accountability
  • Demonstrated history of leading with emotional intelligence and empathy, effectively navigating high-pressure environments, resolving conflict, motivating diverse teams, and fostering inclusive, collaborative working relationships with both staff and government stakeholders


Skills/Achievements



  • Must have one of the following: PMP; DAU and/or FAI Certification in Program Management or Systems Engineering
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with a focus on clarity, precision, and brevity
  • Proficient understanding of DHS Acquisition Instructions/Guidebook (102-01), U.S. Coast Guard Major Systems Acquisition Manual (MSAM), or DOD 5000-compliant ACAT I or II programs preferred
  • Proficiency in O365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail and unwavering commitment to accuracy


Interpersonal Fit and Office Environment



  • Articulate and well-spoken in English with high level of emotional intelligence and practical discretion
  • Proven ability to work effectively remotely in cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and produce quality work
  • Candidates must have the ability to work on-site at Coast Guard Headquarters St Elizabeth's campus. The location is 2701 Martin Luther King Jr Ave SE, Washington, DC 20593. While teleworking may be granted at the discretion of the client, it is not guaranteed.


Clearance Requirements

U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Work Location

Hybrid - two (2) days a week at USCG HQ (DHS St. Elizabeth's Campus in D.C.)

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $130,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
