Position Summary
The Production Supervisor plans, organizes, and monitors the assembly and production of materials. This role ensures smooth and consistent operations so that parts and supplies are properly located and distributed to meet internal and external customer requirements. The Production Supervisor is also responsible for overseeing approximately three Production Clerks.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Monitor the packaging of materials from bulk quantities into smaller package units

  • Ensure materials are properly staged for counting and inspection

  • Verify that packaging log reports are accurately completed

  • Maintain production logs and other archival records

  • Oversee inventory rotation within the warehouse

  • Supervise the conversion of bulk materials into standard smaller packages

  • Create transfers to other branches in accordance with requirement reports in P21

  • Ensure proper housekeeping standards are maintained

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and accessible warehouse environment

  • Study, standardize, and improve procedures to enhance worker efficiency

  • Minimize inventory breakage and shrinkage through careful monitoring of processes and staff

Basic Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred, or one or more years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Minimum of three years of supervisory experience

  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals

  • Ability to interpret a wide variety of written and verbal instructions

  • Ability to prioritize workflow activities and support critical operations as needed

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel

  • Ability to operate a forklift, Order Picker, and Bendi

Physical Requirements

  • Regular use of hands for handling, fingering, reaching, and operating equipment

  • Frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling

  • Occasional sitting, climbing, or balancing

  • Regular lifting and/or moving of up to 10 pounds

  • Frequent lifting and/or moving of up to 50 pounds

  • Occasional lifting and/or moving of more than 100 pounds

  • Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

  • Ability to problem-solve and prioritize tasks

  • Ability to manage stress related to deadlines and ongoing projects

  • Ability to multitask

  • Ability to receive and analyze information
