Position Summary

  • The primary function of the Project Manager is to oversee administrative and sales support.
  • This role requires outstanding organizational skills along with the ability to multitask.
  • This person should be a self-motivated individual, be able to represent GMS in a professional and competent manner at all times.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day office responsibilities, including invoicing, filing, scanning & copying documents Respond to and manage telephone calls and email requests Manage sales orders, requests for quotes from vendors, and general customer inquiries Provide project support by working with customers, placing stock purchase orders, and assisting with project estimates
  • Develop product knowledge and build relationships with customers Monitor, track and report on project budget and status, including estimated project cost, project actuals and project forecasts; compare and communicate current budget status against projections

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of related work experience
  • Strong Microsoft office skills Conduct basic analysis on business topics, project data/statistics and progress, systems impacts and other key challenges Core Competencies: Strive to do the right thing by displaying trust and integrity. Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position in an office environment 70% of the time. Will occasionally move about inside the office to access files, office machinery, etc.
  • Must be able to operate basic office machinery.
  • Must be able to communicate with team and management and be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

Required Cognitive Skills

  • Must be able to problem solve and prioritize tasks.
  • Must be able to manage stress depending on deadlines and ongoing projects.
  • Must be able to multitask.
  • Must be able to receive and analyze financial information.
  • Must be able to quickly communicate solutions if problems occur.
  • Must be able to demonstrate a high degree of sound judgement.

The base salary for this position typically falls within the range of $69,100.00 to $89,800.00 annually. Starting wage may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. SRS Distribution offers additional competitive and non-financial benefits. Depending on the role, associates may also be eligible for performance-based bonus programs, commissions, or a profit-sharing programs.
