Security Officer - Access Control Driver

As a Security Officer - Access Control Driver in Gainesville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols. Your presence and exceptional customer service will support a welcoming environment for staff and visitors. This position requires a valid driver's license and may involve driving responsibilities as part of your role.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control measures at the food and beverage location.
• Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment in accordance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and management regarding security-related matters and provide assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
