As a Security Officer - Auto Auction in Flat Rock, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. This is a driving post, offering direct engagement with people and opportunities to provide excellent customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Document and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents according to established protocols.
• Monitor access points and authorized areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain order within the location.
• Interact with employees, visitors, and vendors in a professional manner while addressing inquiries and assisting as needed.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site management to support security-related objectives specific to a tech, media, and telecom environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
