As an Armed Patrol Officer at a leading utilities location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities as you navigate the site, respond to various situations, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, respond to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment and training to address each situation.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor and report any irregularities or security-related concerns observed during patrols or while stationed at assigned posts.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to personnel and visitors.
• Interact professionally with personnel, visitors, and contractors, providing assistance and guidance as needed.
• Follow all Allied Universal protocols and procedures specific to the utilities environment, including adherence to armed post requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
