As an Allied Universal Security Professional in a residential community, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is an armed post requiring an active guard card/license. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while helping to create a secure environment for residents and guests. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control measures.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to the residential community.
• Verify identification and credentials of individuals seeking access to the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential property and its perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Communicate with residents, guests, and property management to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.
• Support emergency response activities as appropriate, in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in Law Enforcement, Corrections or Military
• Must have a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
