As a Security Officer - Armed Industrial Patrols in Reno, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned manufacturing and industrial locations, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. This armed role involves conducting routine patrols and engaging with employees and visitors to provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate judgement and communication skills.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and screen individuals entering the premises, verifying credentials and reporting any suspicious activity to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as directed.
• Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Assist with emergency response activities, including evacuations and/or lockdowns, as directed by site protocols.
• Maintain a professional presence while interacting with employees, visitors, and contractors at the location, providing information and assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
