The Sales Manager will report directly to the Vice President of Sales and Service and work to maintain and expand business within assigned customer accounts. This is a highly visible role within the company, and the ideal candidate will have the chance to join a global organization that has grown its sales revenue and overall team significantly over the last few years. TLD has a customer-focused, supportive sales culture. The candidate will enjoy the opportunity to travel and sell to some of the most recognizable aviation & aerospace partners in North America. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Manage key accounts, and remain involved with the customer, from commissioning the equipment through service issues, seeking to expand business relationships, and introducing new products wherever possible * Develop a strong understanding of the TLD products and services offered by the company, and develop strong relationships with your customers to serve them better * Develop a strong knowledge of the key competitors and a strong understanding of the Ground Support Equipment industry to better capture sales opportunities * Participate in regional and International sales meetings to give the leadership team an accurate understanding of your business and to learn from other global and local peers * Utilize TLD developed tools to generate quotes and reports for supporting customer management * Additional assignments as designated by the leadership team QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. * Bachelor's Degree required, with technical aptitude a plus and or an engineering background * Must have a demonstrated track record of sales management and 5+ years of relevant work experience * Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite specifically Excel management * Must be a relationship builder with the ability to be immediately credible with, and accepted by, key customers * Must be a self-starter who can work independently, is driven by personal goals, and is accessible to customers and leadership a like * Must be able to work autonomously, reliably, and accurately * Able to travel overnight 50+%, including some international travel * Must be a team player who can be productive in a supportive sales culture where common sense and follow-through is valued, as well as collaborating on proposals along with other team members * Program and project management experience * Prior Military Aviation experience and or knowledge of Ground Support Equipment preferred Job Type: Full-time Benefits:
