P6 Scheduler (Commercial Construction) - OnSite \| ContracttoHire Location: Montgomery, AL Schedule: Monday-Friday, OnSite Travel: ~1 week/month to an additional project location Duration: 5Month ContracttoHire Pay Range: $53-$62/hr (W2) About the Role We are seeking an experienced Primavera P6 Scheduler to support largescale commercial construction projects, including complex, fastpaced builds. This role partners closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field leadership to develop, maintain, and control detailed CPM schedules using P6. You will play a key role in ensuring critical milestones are met, identifying schedule risks, and supporting project delivery from planning through installation and closeout. Key Responsibilities * Build, maintain, and analyze Primavera P6 CPM schedules for active construction projects * Work directly with Project Managers to track progress and ensure timely execution * Monitor customer delivery, installation progress, and workload distribution * Identify schedule variances, risks, openended activities, and logic issues * Maintain project calendars, WBS structure, coding, and activity relationships * Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly progress reports * Perform resource loading, earned value measurement, and forecast updates * Support schedule reviews with client stakeholders and field leadership * Update critical path, constraints, milestone status, and lookahead schedules * Ensure scheduling practices align with project requirements and internal standards Required Skills & Experience * 2+ years handson experience with Primavera P6 (EPPM or Professional) * Commercial construction scheduling experience required * Solid understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) * Experience with activity coding, logic ties, WBS structuring, milestones, and baseline control * Ability to track percent complete, actuals, resource usage, and earned value * Strong communication skills when working with PMs, superintendents, and clients * Ability to travel on a structured, recurring schedule (approx. one week per month) Preferred Qualifications * Experience supporting large infrastructure or data centertype projects * Strong problemsolving and criticalthinking skills * Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and field workflows * Familiarity with resource leveling, schedule risk identification, and variance analysis * Comfortable in a highurgency environment where schedule accuracy drives decisions Why This Opportunity? * Work on highvisibility, largescale commercial projects * Gain exposure to advanced scheduling environments and enterprise P6 workflows * Opportunity for longterm career growth beyond the initial contract * Join a team that values proactive communication and schedule ownership Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Montgomery, AL.
