Description * Supporting the Associate Director of Admissions in the Patient Financial Advocate Unit* Inpatient Auth Unit * Scheduling in/out patients for appointments to various clinics * Verify and enter patient demographics * Verify insurances for Medicare and PPOs including co-pay information, familiar with HMO, IPA, and PPO * Reach out and notify payors, obtain authorizations, fax notifications, and support case management team as needed * Through training , they will be expected to Utilize their knowledge of ICD-9, CPT Codes and medical terminology as they input medical data into the system. * Process pre-registration and cash collections Skills Insurance, Medical terminology, Customer Service, Process authorizations, Registration Additional Skills & Qualifications 2-4 years in Healthcare Must have knowledge of authorizations and insurances (Medi-Cal, HMO, IPA, PPO) EPIC Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of West Hollywood, CA.
