Contract Project Manager - Telecom / UCaaS (Remote with 25% Travel to Missouri) Location: Remote (U.S.) - 25% travel to client site in Missouri Overview We have an urgent need for an experienced Contract Project Manager to support a major technology transformation initiative. This role is ideal for a resultsdriven PM with strong telecom decommissioning and Unified Communications experience. The Project Manager can sit anywhere in the U.S., but must be able to travel up to 25% to the client site in Missouri. Key Responsibilities * Lead and manage telecom system decommissioning projects. * Support migrations from legacy/analog phone systems to modern UCaaS platforms. * Coordinate workstreams involving voice, telecom, and collaboration technologies. * Partner with technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery. * Provide status reporting, timeline management, and escalation handling. * Oversee deployment and cutover activities for UCaaS systems. * Drive Avaya-to-Microsoft Teams migration initiatives. * Ensure documentation, process tracking, and project governance. Required Skills & Experience * Telecom system decommissioning experience (required) * Project management experience with cross-functional teams and enterprise environments * Strong understanding of telecom/voice infrastructure and migration workflows * Ability to manage multiple workstreams and communicate with senior stakeholders * Willingness and ability to travel to Missouri (up to 25%) Preferred Skills * Talkdesk experience * Microsoft Teams Voice project experience * Experience with UCaaS migration projects * Experience migrating Avaya to Microsoft Teams * Background in large-scale telecom system transitions or call center technology rollout Soft Skills * Strong written and verbal communication * Excellent organization and documentation * Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment * Proactive issue resolution and stakeholder management Why Join This Project? * Opportunity to support a highvisibility enterprise initiative * Work with modern UCaaS technologies and telecom transformation programs * Flexible remote work with periodic onsite collaboration * Fast-paced, impactful environment Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Dallas, TX. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
