Stand Up Reach Operator Details

Pay Rate: $20.25 - $20.75 per hour

2nd Shift: Monday - Friday | 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday | 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM

What You'll Be Doing

Moving Inventory Inside the Warehouse - transporting pallets from receiving docks to storage locations and from storage to staging or shipping areas.

Put-Away and Pick Stock - placing incoming goods into the correct rack location and retrieving goods to fulfill orders.

Use Warehouse Systems - scan items with RF scanners or a warehouse management system to track inventory movement and confirm accuracy.

Inspect Goods - check pallets for damage, correct labeling, count items, and report issues.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Start-of-shift safety check on the reach truck (brakes, forks, battery, horn, etc.)
• Log into the warehouse system and grab assignments (usually via RF scanner)
• Put-away product
  
  
  
  • Take pallets from receiving
  • Store them in high rack locations using the reach truck
  
  
  
  
• Pick pallets for orders
  
  
  
  • Pull full pallets or cases from racking
  • Stage them in outbound lanes for shipping
  
  
  
  
• Scan inventory to confirm correct product, location, and quantity
• Reposition or consolidate pallets to free up space or prep for outbound loads
• Load or unload trailers when needed (depending on shift/workload)
• Check pallet condition
  
  
  
  • Look for damaged cases, wrap issues, or incorrect labels
  • Report problems to leads or inventory control
  
  
  
  
• Housekeeping
  
  
  
  • Keep aisles clear
  • Dispose of shrink wrap and damaged pallets
  
  
  
  
• Follow food-grade safety rules
  
  
  
  • Clean handling, no damaged product stored

• End-of-shift wrap-up
  
  
  
  • Park and plug in the equipment
  • Turn in the scanner and report any issues
