What to Expect
As part of the Workplace team, the Parking Enforcement Officer will monitor all Tesla Fremont parking sites and ensure parking policies and guidelines are followed. Additionally, they will support event block offs, traffic control, and work cross funtionally with valet operations and transportation team. The Parking Enforcement Officer will join the dynamic Workplace team and support environmental sustainability initiatives.

What You'll Do
  • Patrol and Enforcement: Conduct regular patrols across Tesla facilities and utilize Lincense Plate Rerader (LPR) to enforce parking policies, identify violations, and address unauthorized parking and suspicous activity. Issue citations, coordinate booting and towing, and support traffice control for congestion, emergencies, events, etc.
  • Customer Service and Education: Deliver excellent customer support by responding to employee and visitor inquiries regarding parking, valet services, and EV charging. Educate employees on parking policies and manage parking daily operations through multiple communication channels, including email, Jira ticketing, phone, and in-person interactions
  • Documentation and Compliance: Accurately document and maintain all enforcement actions, including emails, citations, booting, tow notices, LPR data, lot utilization metrics, and parking records, to ensure compliance and reporting accurately in system records
  • Communication and Notification: Communicate parking violations, alerts, operational updates, and key notifications to employees and stakeholds via email, Jira, flyers, signage, and other channels to maintain transparency and awareness
  • Operational Coordination: Coordinate parking operations, including visitor parking requests, block-offs, valet key management, flyer distribution, and inventory control (e.g., boots, citations, signage, and block-off items). Support VIP and event parking, manage supply needs, and assist with valet operations
  • Equipment Maintenance and Support: Maintain parking enforcement vehicles, tools, and equipment, provide basic vehicle assistance (e.g., jump-starts, tire air), work cross-functionally with internal teams and external venfors on parking-related projects, and handle customer interactions and controntational situations prefessionally and fairly

What You'll Bring
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, including the use of Microsoft Suite
  • Valid drivers license and ability to operate a vehicle with 3 years+ driving experience
  • Excellent organization and time management/multi-tasking skills demonstrated the ability to take initiative and ownership of projects
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and maintain professionalism in high stress situations
  • Evidence of exceptional ability with ability to perform successfully in a team dynamic and individually

Physical Demands

  • Ability to stand and walk for a period of time and run over varied and uneven terrain
  • Frquently and repetitively, sit and operate a vehicle for an extended period
  • Capable of bending, twisting, kneedling, squatting, and crouching to operate and inspect a vehicle
  • Ability to drive and operate automatic and manual vehicles, grip charger to connect/remove from vehicle and carry signage/traffic control equipment up to 15 lbs.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions such as rain, heat, or cold
  • Ability to maintain focus and spatial awareness when operating a vehicle

    Expected Compensation
    $20.20 - $30.30/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
