Responsibilities

  • Own the development and refinement of the operational tools required to scale the business and climate impact of energy solutions at Rivian, including financial forecasting and modeling, compliance and regulatory reporting, energy asset management support, and more.
  • Build and refine robust data architecture and data analysis frameworks for the Advanced Energy Solutions team to enable more streamlined reporting and analysis.
  • Provide general analytical support for initiatives across the Advanced Energy Solutions team, including but not limited to new product offerings, feature development, and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with finance and sustainability teams to ensure seamless fulfillment of all revenue-generating energy programs, including timely and accurate reporting processes.
  • Oversee the development of success metrics across all Advanced Energy Solutions programs, and continued performance reporting for team and company leadership.
  • Act as a key liaison and success manager for Rivian's energy ecosystem partners, ensuring delivery of commercial milestones and objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a 4 year institution or equivalent professional experience.
  • 1-4 years of experience on analytical or operational projects, with significant data analysis or data engineering experience.
  • Expertise in data management and data analysis using Python, SQL, or other equivalent analytical tools.
  • Superb data visualization skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate through data to a broad range of audiences.
  • Proven success building analytical tools and processes - going beyond inheriting or running existing solutions - for a wide range of use cases.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement technical solutions to strategic problems, while keeping the big picture in mind.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and devotion to accuracy and clarity in everything you do.
  • Energy industry or energy market experience is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Prior experience developing or managing reporting processes for regulatory or compliance purposes is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with project-specific experience collaborating with technical and non-technical team members.
  • High comfort level with standard slide and spreadsheet tools (Google Workspace ideal)

Pay Disclosure

The salary range for this role is USD 77,300 - 85,900 for California based applicants. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, and organizational needs.

The successful candidate may be eligible for annual performance bonus and equity awards.
