THE ROLE:

Be part of AMD supply chain factory planning team, the planner will work in GOQ org to execute the supply plan successfully with different function teams as upstream a few supply chain teams, product ENG, Board Operation (process and material), test ENG and Quality. Outside AMD, The Planner works with critical board level Contract Manufactories, who has the lead technology and biggest business influencing the world.

THE PERSON:

The candidate must have strong analytical skills, be good with numbers, meticulous and with a keen eye for detail to process vast amounts of data within a brief time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze supply-demand matching, identify root cause / shortages and drive to close the gap.
  • Accountable to meet production supply target on OPN level mix.
  • OSATs/CMs engagement to drive the weekly/daily throughput and efficiency.
  • Manage all the planning parameter and collaborate with ENG/IE to close the gap and improve the supply.
  • Track and monitor supply position including recommendations for risk mitigation.
  • Supply planning upside analysis including NPI/ mass production involving Capacity/HW planning, planning parameters, material , BOM, test flow.
  • Daily tracking and managing WIP movement, cycle time and hold/aged materials disposition.
  • Lead and trigger influencing communication, coordinate and drive the actions with cross function teams to solve excursions and recover the supply.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Clearly communicate verbally and written in English, Chinese will be beneficial.
  • 3-6 years' experience in Board level (or Computer) manufacturing/product planning & controlunder supply chain organization.
  • Familiarity with board level manufacturing on PCBA and components planning, and relative Cap (SMT/Assy and test) planning.
  • Familiarity with Agile Bill of Materials interpretation and analysis, experienced on BOM changes management with manufacture.
  • Experience in outsourcing/OSAT/CMs management. NPI experience on samples planning/delivery and volume bring up with factories.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in business/material management or industry engineering.
