Position Summary

Adobe is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build the next-generation web application for Adobe Analytics, our industry-leading analytics platform. Adobe Analytics processes 20+ billion transactions daily, delivering insights through a sophisticated data visualization interface.

As a senior engineer, you will work across the full software development lifecycle and help shape the technical direction of our data retrieval and integration platform.

This role is based in Lehi, UT, within Adobe's Digital Marketing Business Unit.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and operate public-facing APIs, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and developer experience.

  • Own and evolve the product's official MCP server, supporting integrations with internal and customer-owned agentic systems.

  • Contribute to architecture and technical design, balancing immediate needs with long-term platform health.

  • Solve complex problems involving large-scale data processing and distributed systems.

  • Lead by example in adopting AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity and quality.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.

  • Experience designing and operating public APIs used by external consumers.

  • Strong foundation in software architecture and object-oriented programming (Java, C/C++, C#, or PHP).

  • Experience with databases (SQL, MySQL, MongoDB).

  • Familiarity with agent-based systems, MCP servers, or AI-enabled SaaS products, or strong interest in this space.

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $139,000 -- $257,550 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
