REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • RF Transmitter Operator with 5+ years of hands-on support in transmitter operations within a test range environment.
  • Experience supporting missile flight tests in both ship-based and land-based settings is highly beneficial.
  • Candidates should have demonstrated proficiency in ground-based flight termination system operations, including real-time system monitoring, equipment handling, and operational troubleshooting.
  • Strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to perform reliably under high-stakes, operational conditions are essential.
  • Previous experience with the MOSAIC system or MOSAIC - like systems is desired

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Experience with WV Communications transmitter systems is strongly desired, particularly in dynamic test environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The RF Transmitter Operator will provide hands-on support and operational oversight of MOSAIC flight termination systems during test missions.
  • Responsibilities include configuring, operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting ground-based flight termination systems in real time to ensure reliable system performance throughout mission execution.
  • The role involves supporting both ship-based and land-based missile flight tests, with particular emphasis on dynamic operational environments.
  • The Operator will coordinate with engineers, scientists, and operations personnel to ensure seamless transmitter system integration and performance.
  • During live operations, they will supervise antenna and transmitter activities, maintain system logs, and assist in diagnosing and resolving anomalies.
  • The position also includes deployment with MOSAIC systems to provide on-site, mission-critical support and support junior team members in operational best practices.
  • This position requires up to 50% travel to support field operations, mission execution, system deployments, and customer engagements.
