About This Role

The Kansas State Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory within the College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking applicants for a full-time, temporary Laboratory Technician Intern. The purpose of this internship is to provide experience and training in common laboratory techniques utilized within the KSVDL. This position will allow potential employees to observe different career opportunities that exist within the KSVDL. Interns will gain experience and knowledge through hands on experience with different assays or testing platforms by rotating through or focusing on laboratory sections with different diagnostic testing.


Worksite Description

This position is On-site.

All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.


What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:



  • HS diploma


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Minimum 2 years completed towards a bachelor's degree and at least sophomore status in the university


Sponsorship eligibility:

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
