Aquent is partnering with a leading enterprise in a dynamic industry, seeking an accomplished Infrastructure professional to join their innovative team. You will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust infrastructure solutions, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across all systems. As a key member of the infrastructure team, you will contribute to critical projects and initiatives, playing a vital role in enhancing system reliability and operational excellence. **What You'll Do:**

* Design and implement advanced monitoring, automation, configuration management, and reporting functions to achieve a highly efficient, hands-off infrastructure environment.

* Architect, install, configure, manage, and maintain internal server and virtual machine environments, networking components, storage solutions, and security infrastructure.

* Ensure adherence to rigorous change management processes, incident response protocols, and testing methodologies for all system and software modifications.

* Proactively anticipate, mitigate, identify, respond to, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues affecting systems and software.

* Document, address, and resolve all customer incidents, problems, and requests in a timely and professional manner.

* Perform regular system maintenance, including operating system and application patching, driver updates, and continuous performance monitoring.

* Develop comprehensive documentation for both new and existing systems, ensuring knowledge transfer and operational consistency.

* Provide exceptional customer service, actively seeking to understand and address customer needs through effective communication and collaboration.

* Mentor junior team members, fostering their growth and development within the organization.

* Develop and implement project plans, conduct risk assessments, and create robust contingency plans, including disaster recovery and business continuity planning, testing, and response.

* Define and document best practices and support procedures to enhance operational efficiency and consistency.

* Provide after-hours support for infrastructure-related emergencies and participate in occasional weekend maintenance activities.

* Assist with the evaluation, recommendation, and negotiation processes for hardware and software vendors.

* Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and evidence.

* Engage with staff at a technical level, providing expert guidance and support as required.

**Must-Have Qualifications:**

* Proven experience in designing and implementing robust infrastructure solutions, encompassing monitoring, automation, configuration management, and reporting.

* Demonstrated expertise in managing and maintaining server environments (physical and virtual), networking infrastructure, storage devices, and security components (e.g., firewalls).

* Strong understanding and practical application of change management processes, incident response, and system testing methodologies.

* Exceptional ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues across various systems and applications.

* Experience with routine system maintenance tasks, including patching, updates, and performance monitoring.

* Proficiency in creating clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documentation.

* Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach.

* Experience mentoring or guiding junior technical team members.

* Capability to develop and execute project plans, conduct risk assessments, and implement comprehensive contingency plans (e.g., disaster recovery, business continuity).

* A strong commitment to defining and documenting best practices and standard operating procedures.

* Willingness to provide after-hours support for critical incidents and participate in scheduled weekend maintenance.

* Experience assisting with vendor evaluations, recommendations, and negotiations for hardware and software solutions.

* Ability to support audit processes by providing relevant documentation and evidence.

* A high degree of technical proficiency to interact effectively with diverse technical staff.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $58 to $65. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
