Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Associate Director of Training & Development to lead and execute comprehensive training strategies supporting the migraine franchise. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering impactful training programs that elevate field performance and ensure excellence across new hire onboarding, POA meetings, and ongoing field coaching initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy, design, and execution of national training initiatives aligned with Scilex objectives
  • Develop and deliver migraine disease state and product training, ensuring scientific accuracy and commercial relevance
  • Design and facilitate workshops, including interactive learning modules and skill-based training
  • Coordinate and lead new hire training classes, ensuring rapid onboarding and readiness
  • Plan and execute POA (Plan of Action) meetings, including content development and live facilitation
  • Provide field coaching, including ride-alongs, feedback, and performance development
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Leadership
  • Assess training effectiveness and continuously improve programs based on performance metrics and field feedback

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in the migraine disease state (required)
  • Migraine product training experience (required)
  • Demonstrated success in workshop development
  • Experience coordinating and leading new hire training programs
  • Hands-on leadership of POA meetings
  • Strong field coaching background (must have)
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills
  • Ability to operate independently while influencing senior stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support field teams and meetings

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience supporting specialty or neurology-focused sales teams
  • Experience in the Neuropathic Pain space
  • Contract or launch experience within pharmaceutical or biotech environments
  • Strong preference for candidates residing within a 2-hour flight of Newark, NJ (EWR)

Field-based role with 50% travel and overnights required
