Responsibilities Are you looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the government? What if you could find a position that is tailor made to grow your development, systems engineering, project management, and communication skills? We are seeking motivated summer interns to support a range of technical, acquisition, and programmatic tasks in support of the Nuclear Sea Launched Cruise Missile program. Working under the guidance of experienced mentors, interns will contribute to real-world projects supporting the mission of our program with the customer while gaining valuable industry experience in a collaborative environment. Come work alongside our program team as we plan, develop, manage, and execute a collaborative project from concept generation, to acquisition and engineering, through capability delivery and customer presentations. You will develop your knowledge and ability with various engineering tools and leave Arcfield with an understanding of what a Systems Engineer role is like. Arcfield's intern program is designed to provide college students the opportunity to gain meaningful, hands-on work experience in a professional environment. Our goal is to build a roadmap that leads you to a long, rewarding and challenging career. Interns typically represent college students trying to gain related work experience while pursuing an undergraduate degree. Under direct supervision, you will perform various hands-on tasks and assignments for the organization's professional staff in such disciplines as project management, systems engineering, and MBSE tool utilization. Equal Pay Act This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. Intern hourly rates are determined based upon the technical/non-technical nature of the position and years of education/experience.
