Senior FP&A Analyst

Responsible for forging strategic business partnerships to deliver advanced analytics and insights into business opportunities and to mitigate risk. Works closely with the business to develop, track, refine, and maintain performance indicators to measure process and operational improvements (i.e., growth, new products/customers/ markets penetration, revenue, or expense contributors, etc.). Applies sophisticated financial modeling techniques to evaluate capital investments using financial modelling techniques.

Key Responsibilities

1. Meaningfully contributes with the facilitation of the annual budget process and monthly and quarterly reforecasts. Works with business leaders to identify necessary forecast adjustments and budget needs.

2. Consolidates forecasts and budgets, performing trend / variance and profitability analysis around revenue, expense, capital expenditures and other related areas.

3. Designs, enhances, and governs robust and repeatable forecasting models identifying root causes of previous errors and monitoring accuracy and predictive validity of existing models.

4. Prepares financial and business-related templates, analysis, and research in such areas as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, etc.

5. Delivers executive ready reporting, including dashboards, KPIs, and analytics visuals ensuring business units have clear, actionable insights to improve performance.

6. Automates and improves complex tools, dashboards, and processes for budgeting, planning, reporting, etc.

7. Evaluates, investigates, and audits P&L performance, variances, capital requests, ROI analysis, and ad hoc requests to support cross-functional projects.

8. Issues identification and problem resolution to ensure attainment of commitments and goals.

9. Develops various models and reports to enable financial and operational tracking and improvements including reporting on cost saving initiatives.

10. Oversees the integrity, updates and strategic utilization of the company's integrated financial model, ensuring alignment with the long-term financial plans and enterprise strategy.

Minimum Qualifications (Educations & Experience)

* Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent

* 5+ years of experience or the knowledge, skills, or abilities to succeed

*Strong understanding of P&L and financial modeling

* Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to cultivate relationships across functions

* Advanced interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to any audience

* Strong organization, time-management, and multi-tasking skills

* Proven ability to solve complex and difficult problems

* Proven ability to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and/or standardization

* Highly skilled at data review, financial analysis, and identifying trends with the ability to organize and structure complex financial models to efficiently answer business questions

* Advanced Excel skills with experience using a range of functions (i.e., statistical functions, logical functions, pivot, lookup/reference functions, text functions, etc.)

* Ability to combine and characterize data from multiple sources

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

* Experience in consumer-packaged goods and/or protein industry

* Experience with SAP or other ERP systems

* CPA

Physical Demands

* While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, keyboard, and occasionally lift up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions & Travel Requirements

* Work may be performed remotely; in a climate-controlled office environment; or a combination of the two. For remote work, the employee must have a dedicated workspace to safely setup and use assigned IT equipment, preferably free from distractions. The employee is responsible for ensuring adequate internet service is available when working remotely (the recommended minimum speed is 20mb download and 5mb upload).

* The noise level of the environment is usually moderate.

* Occasional travel may be required.
