As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, greet drivers and employees, verify credentials, and manage entry and exit points. You will complete routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with onsite teams. This is a driving post requiring a Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements, supported by our agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access at entry points by verifying identification, checking credentials, managing visitor and/or contractor sign-in, issuing temporary badges as directed, and maintaining accurate access logs.
• Screen inbound and outbound vehicle and/or pedestrian traffic as required, help to deter unauthorized entry, and communicate access approvals, denials, and exceptions to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of gates, dock areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, and document observations and incidents according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
