People * Customers * Trust The Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning and scheduling for effective utilization of the workforce, materials and equipment with the purpose of executing plant maintenance work to increase time and minimize unscheduled downtime. This position identifies safety needs, staffing, materials and special equipment to execute maintenance work as well as conducting equipment data collection, processing, and analysis. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Education equivalent to associate's degree or completed certification in production or maintenance is preferred or equivalent experience in production and/or maintenance. Previous work experience as a member of a team, or a strong understanding of the importance of open communication and information sharing between team members. Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple projects and/or requests concurrently. Able to work flexible hours as needed. Ability to travel as necessary and possess a valid U.S. driver's license. PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: Three (3) years of previous experience in equipment and electrical maintenance in corrugated manufacturing. Working knowledge of maintenance of corrugated and packaging equipment and electrical and mechanical maintenance. Working knowledge of computer systems including experience with Microsoft Office and BPMS. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Ability to create and effectively lead teams. Solid analytical skills with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and conduct deductive reasoning and troubleshooting. Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively solicit buy-in from various audiences. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively lead and communicate cross functionally. Strong listening, evaluating, and problem-solving skills. Ability to create alternative solutions and meet deadlines.
