- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic computer proficiency, including experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Material handling experience required.
- Minimum 3 months experience operating at least one of the following equipment:
- Stand-Up Dock Truck.
- Order/Stock Picker.
- Sit-Down Forklift.
- Tugger/Cart.
- Walkie Rider or equivalent.
- At least 1 year experience in a high-volume distribution center or large retail operation.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Career Readiness Certificate (CRC) preferred.
- Knowledge of SAP and/or PKMS Warehouse Management Systems.
- 2-3 years of direct warehouse or distribution operations experience.
Responsibilities
- Maintain active forklift certification.
- Perform warehouse functions including:
- Picking
- Packing/Auditing
- Loading
- Replenishment
- Cycle Counting
- Receiving and Putaway
- Maintain a positive attitude and strong team focus.
- Collaborate with Supervisors, Coordinators, Inbound, Inventory Control, and Outbound teams to resolve issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Communication & Teamwork
- Communicate openly and professionally with team members and other departments.
- Report equipment, order, location, inventory, or process issues promptly to appropriate leadership.
- Follow the open-door policy and chain of command for issue escalation.
- Provide consistent feedback to leads, trainers, supervisors, and managers.
Workplace Standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Support teammates by ensuring workspaces are clear and operational.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Productivity & Performance
- Monitor personal performance with a sense of urgency and pride.
- Understand key performance metrics and how performance is measured.
- Follow directions clearly and ensure proper follow-up.
- Identify and address ineffective or counterproductive processes.
