About the Opportunity

As part of the Subrogation/Workers' Compensation Team, the Team Attorney provides legal support and guidance to business operations.

What you'll do



  • Advise General Counsel on relevant legal issues regarding Workers' Compensation Operations.
  • Provide timely and suitable legal review and advice to assigned workers' compensation recovery teams.
  • Ensure that possible adverse suits and legal matters towards clients and Company are handled appropriately.
  • Provide training in relevant legal issues as assigned to new and current analysts.
  • Communicate with Workers' Compensation Analysts as needed with information and guidance regarding new court decisions, statutes, and regulations and the potential impact on file handling.


What experience you bring:



  • Juris Doctorate from an approved ABA law school.
  • License to practice law in any state. California license a plus.
  • One or more years of workers' compensation experience preferred.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with a keen ability to communicate effectively throughout all levels of the organization.
  • Very strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams and clients.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.


Pay range: $130,000 - $200,000 USD base salary.This is an exempt position.
