The practice first opened in 2009 and has grown to become the premier eye care office in Carlsbad/North County San Diego. Combining cutting-edge technologies, expertise, and high-quality products, the practice is dedicated to providing exceptional and personalized vision care to every patient. In addition to offering primary optometric services, the doctors specialize in acute eye care, pediatric eye care, low vision, myopia control management, cataract and refractive surgery co-management, specialty contact lenses, and designer eyewear and customer lens designs. What you'll do: Working a full-time week, you'll work Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Caring for 16 to 22 patients daily, you'll perform comprehensive examinations, recommend vision-enhancing solutions, and promote good eye health through patient education. Additional skills, such as specialty contact lenses, myopia management, and glaucoma treatment, will aid you in caring for a diverse patient population. You'll follow an accommodative exam template to allow an engaged and thorough eye exam experience for each patient. You'll work collaboratively with an experienced and supportive team to ensure the best result for every patient. Who we're seeking: The ideal candidate is able to treat patients of all ages and has experience conducting comprehensive eye exams, contact lens exams, glaucoma testing and treatment, diabetic eye disease, cataract surgery, and Lasik co-management. You're comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and consider yourself a reliable team player. You enjoy caring for a diverse patient population and are an excellent listener who genuinely cares about patients. Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities:

Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D., including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure

1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills

Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service

Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties

Working Conditions

The working environment is generally favorable, lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
