We are seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to lead our General Ledger Accounting function, reporting directly to the Controller. Based at our Alpharetta, GA location, this role will oversee a team of three Senior Accountants. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a collaborative, fast-paced, and forward-thinking organization.

This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, adherence to accounting standards, and providing strategic support for corporate and operational finance. The Accounting Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners including FP&A, Procurement, Operations, and Internal Audit to deliver reliable financial results, maintain strong SOX-compliant controls, and drive continuous process improvement.



Your Impact

    Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for the general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, flux/trend analysis, and reporting.
  • Oversee and manage the general ledger accounting process, ensuring accuracy and completeness across all accounts.
  • Maintain and improve processes for accruals, reserves, intercompany transactions, and other liabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and company accounting policies.
  • Partner with FP&A and business leaders to provide insights into financial results and support forecasting and budgeting.
  • Oversee account reconciliations, cutoff procedures, and discrepancy resolution; drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Support internal and external audits related to general ledger and corporate accounting.
  • Update and maintain internal controls over general ledger accounting processes.
  • Drive process improvements and system enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities to a team of accounting professionals.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Other duties as assigned by Director of Accounting or Chief Accounting Officer.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 1-3 years of experience leading or managing accounting staff.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, general ledger accounting, and close processes.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle Fusion preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problemsolving, communication, and organizational skills.


Additional Success Factors

  • CPA or CMA certification.
  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or supplychain-intensive environments.
  • Prior audit experience (public accounting or internal audit).
  • Experience supporting SOX compliance and working within a controlsdriven environment.
  • Demonstrated success leading crossfunctional initiatives or systems/process improvements.
