Billing Analyst I

Reporting directly to the Billings Lead and/or Billing Manager, the Billing Analyst I supports the billing practices of SES by ensuring the timely preparation of bills and invoices.

Follows company billing practices
• Identifies and remedies any invoicing or reporting errors and discrepancies
• Follows specific and detailed instructions as to the day-to-day and/or monthly tasks to ensure desired results
• Provides timely updates to work progress to ensure accuracy in-time and upon completion
• Displays a high level of professionalism working with internal and external customers to ensure orders are fulfilled before invoicing
• Performs other duties as assigned

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required

Experience:

• Two years government billing and commercial experience highly desired
• CostPoint experience desired
• Standard government and commercial contract familiarization and understanding of balance sheets preferred
