Position Title: Warehouse Associate
Wage: $18.00 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm (Mon-Fri) Are you detail-oriented and take pride in keeping things accurate and organized? As a Warehouse Associate, you'll play a key role in ensuring returned products are carefully inspected, properly documented, and handled the right way. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, staying organized, and contributing to a smooth-running warehouse operation. You'll work in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, accountability, and teamwork matter every day. This is a 1st shift position located in Lenexa, KS with the opportunity for hire. Warehouse Associate Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Inspecting returned items for damage, defects, or discrepancies. - Accurately document findings and update return records in the computer system. - Process returns transactions and ensure proper handling of damaged or defective goods. - Move and organize returned products as needed (up to 50 lbs.). - Operate a forklift occasionally (minimal usage). - Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Warehouse Associate Requirements: - Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. regularly. - Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift. - Ability to work in a warehouse environment that may vary in temperature. - Capable of performing repetitive motions and maintaining focus during detailed inspections. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Sit down forklift experience. - Ability to lift to 50 lbs. - Basic computer proficiency (data entry, email, inventory systems). - Prior warehouse or inspection experience preferred. kansascitysouth@qpsemployment.com IND137 About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
