Job Title: Office Clerk ( Print Production Operation)

Location: Chicago, IL 60604

Duration: 10 months Assignment through the end of the year, potential renewal

Shift/Hours: 40hours/week, 8:00am - 5pm CST

Work Model: Onsite, 5 days per week

Summary:

  • Independently operate current digital production and finishing devices not limited but including the Ricoh Graphics Pro 7210 units, Titan Cutter 230, Morgana digifold Pro, and C.P. Bourg Stitcher/Folder/Trimmer units accurately executing communicated specifications as indicated by requesting Clients or Design Marketing Teams.
  • Assist with the Printing shop operations and quality review.



Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring operational readiness and safety according to manufacturers' guidelines and performing daily and periodically.
  • Scheduled maintenance and making mechanical adjustments to achieve optimal equipment capacity.
  • Independently monitor quality for color consistency, paper position, and registration.
  • Make quick and accurate judgements regarding print/finishing quality while making corrective device adjustments.
  • Metrics ranging from documented errors/performance notes, feedback from client and site manager observation.
  • Demonstrates ownership for own performance by completing projects within time, budget, and risk parameters: redirect efforts as required.
  • Shows curiosity by asking questions to understand current approaches/production methods.
  • Demonstrate written and verbal communications in a well-organized and logical manner.
  • Respond to client inquiries with speed, accuracy and professionalism.
  • Site Manager observation and client feedback.


Qualifications:

  • Operational Excellence in Execution and Effective Communication.
  • Takes initiative to accomplish tasks and make decisions.
  • Display a sense of urgency.
  • Make timely day-to-day job-related decisions based on relevant information/production data seeking assistance as needed.
  • Ensure deadlines are met, asking for assistance on priorities as needed.
  • Microsoft office experience.
  • High School Degree or GED.


Nice to haves:

  • Previous office administration/ management experience.
  • Previous printing shop experience.
