What to Expect

The Fremont Facilities Team is seeking an Associate Manager for its Trade Services Team. This person will manage a high performing team focused on critical factory construction projects including factory upgrades, refits, and vehicle production. This position will oversee a combined team across multiple disciplines such as electricians, welders, pipefitters, carpenters, and painters. The Associate Manger will work cross-functionally with end users and the EPC group designing and collaborating on factory critical projects.

  • Successfully oversee internally performed construction projects and scopes from small to large scale
  • Ensure on time, or ahead of time delivery of construction projects
  • Promote a safe and quality driven culture, both project and company wide
  • Coach and mentor counterparts and subordinates on excellence in the construction industry
  • Efficiently communicate project challenges, clashes, and solutions
  • Employ a can-do attitude, ensuring all stakeholders are engaged and aligned to the project's goals
  • Provide the best product for your respective project's customer or end users, keeping projects moving forward and fixing concerns as they arise

What You'll Bring
  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience
  • Ideally 10+ years of experience on large commercial or industrial construction projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and presentation skills are a must
  • Advanced knowledge and proven delivery on Civil, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Safety and Controls scopes
  • Ability to train and mentor colleagues in best practices for project management and execution
  • Willingness to get your hands dirty as needed to complete objectives and lead your teams through challenging projects
  • Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines and aggressive goals

    Expected Compensation
    $144,000 - $216,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
