Summary:

The HRSA Grant Program Manager provides leadership and day-to-day management including the planning and oversight of the implementation and operation for the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) grant at MaineHealth. The Program Manager must exemplify strong collaborative leadership, excellent communication and advanced project management skills. The Program Manager oversees processes to ensure program goals are measured, analyzed, reported and met. The position supports the operational aspects of the grant including submitting reports to HRSA, consortium functions, budgeting, accounting and communication.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or relevant management and clinical experience. Master's degree preferred.
  2. License: N/A
  3. Experience: Three to five+ years diverse project management experience with demonstrated success. Work experience related to behavioral health, substance abuse, community planning, consortiums, or grants is preferred.
  4. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  5. Ability to think analytically and apply sound judgment, solve problems, make effective decisions
  6. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook needed to be effective in the position.
  7. Experience with grant reporting and compliance preferred.
  8. A high level of interpersonal skills necessary to support the dynamic work team and communicate effectively with a wide variety of community health care leaders, clinicians and grant officials.
  9. Possesses a high level of analytical and critical thinking skills needed to assist in the development of project plans, gap analyses, strategic planning and implementation, work force analyses, sustainability analyses, and other reports and/or analyses as directed.
  10. Exemplifies strong collaborative leadership, strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication (verbal and written).
  11. Possesses excellent oral and written presentation skills,
  12. Ability to travel as required by projects associated with the grant.
