About this Role - Assistant Coordinator

We are looking for a talented Assistant Coordinator for our Project Controls team that has a passion for quality construction. This position is responsible for assisting with the coordinator of project budgeting, progress tracking, and maintaining project controls.

What You'll Do

- Assist Project Controls and operations in the preparation and entry of budgets, change orders and cost spreads

- Facilitate the weekly quantity load process and ensure accuracy

- Assist with the preparation of monthly project forecasts in Ecosys

- Prepare additional correspondence and reports for internal use and key customers

- Work with Project Controls, Finance and Accounting for general support and reporting

- Handling basic office duties including responding to emails, maintaining job files, and data entry and reporting

- Supporting employees by facilitating interdepartmental communications and interactions between internal and external parties

- Ensure office supplies are sufficiently stocked and organized

- Provides general project management support

- Build relationships with project managers, project controls, and finance teams.

- Cross trained on other job duties within the department to assist during periods of absence

What You'll Bring

- Demonstrate ability in multi-tasking and prioritizing

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

- Must be detail oriented

- Basic computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office and Outlook

- Utilization of AI tools to increase efficiency

- Ability to maintain confidentiality

- Ability to anticipate and meet the needs of internal and external customers

- Proven communication, organizational and persuasive interpersonal skills

- Strong team and customer service skills

- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Education beyond High School preferred)

- 1-3 years of administrative support preferred

- JDE Experience is a plus
