Job Title: Phlebotomists - ASCP/AMT Location: Brockton, MA 02301 Duration: 01 Years to Long-Term Schedule: Day shift of 8 hours. Role & Responsibilities: Contractor's employees shall be technically proficient in the skills necessary to fulfill the government's requirements, including the ability to speak, understand, read and write English fluently. Contractor shall provide documents upon request of the CO/COR to verify current and ongoing competency, skills, certification and/or licensure related to the provision of care, treatment and/or services performed. he employee will perform patient phlebotomy to include inpatient ward rounds, inpatient and outpatient, Emergency Department (ED), STAT, as soon as possible (ASAP), and timed draws. The employee will perform sample processing and send out preparation. As part of safety, positively identifies patients prior to sample collection and samples prior to testing or aliquoting. As part of safety and safeguards electronic and paper patient information. Identifies, documents, and resolves any collection, or processing issues. Assures patient-centered care and provides service in a manner that is professional and will avoid complaints from all stakeholders and customers. Contractor's personnel shall be responsible for signing in and out when in attendance. The Laboratory Manager (or designee) will establish and maintain a record keeping system that will record the hours worked by the contract personnel. The Medical Technicians (Phlebotomy) assigned by the Contractor to perform the services covered by this contract must have three (3) years of recent phlebotomy experience. The detailed resume/CV shall include the following information: certifications, professional training, and relevant expertise in accordance with the requirements. Required Certification: Certification from American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or American Medical Technologists (AMT) is required.
