EnergyHub empowers utilities and their customers to create a clean, distributed energy future. We help consumers turn their industrial loads, smart thermostats, EVs, batteries, and other products into virtual power plants that keep the grid stable and enable higher penetration of solar and wind power.

We're seeking a curious, experienced Senior Product Manager to join the team, focusing on scaling our EV products. This role will initially report to the Director of Product and will collaborate with stakeholders across the company, including engineers, data scientists, sales, solutions engineering, client success, and other product managers. This is an individual contributor role with significant product scope and opportunity to drive business impact.

What you'll do:

  • Uncover insights from user research, analytics, market research, and input from cross-functional partners, specifically focused on solutions for utility VPPs with electric vehicles.
  • Define, prioritize, build, document, and iterate on new products and product features through the lens of hypotheses and validation of those hypotheses.
  • Own and evolve your product roadmap with a strategic and thoughtful prioritization of features for different partners and stages of the customer journey.
  • Drive the product strategy and look 12-18 years out to help shape revenue opportunities and product goals. Develop strategy for EV partner integrations, ensuring that we connect with EV devices via integrations that unlock our core use cases as well as new value streams.
  • Improve scalability of the platform by evolving even more robust analytics dashboards, product metrics, and testing practices. Drive product features that enhance our performance and our customers' understanding of performance. Own a set of key metrics for your products and collaborate cross-functionally to drive improvements to those metrics.
  • Balance long-term bets with short-term improvements, optimizing for speed of learning and time to impact.
  • Bring a fresh perspective to our team, offering suggestions we haven't considered, pointing out problems that need to be solved, and helping us move forward in our mission.

What you bring:

  • 6+ years of software product management experience, including experience building software for EV management and/or VPP solutions. You have owned at least one product from concept phase through launch and broader distribution.
  • Experience working in EV software (telematics, charging management, EV driver experience) or EV utility programs.
  • Analytical abilities: You have tested and validated (or ruled out) new business models or products based on analysis of customer economics, as well as strategic factors. You're able to quantify the impact of your work and focus on the right commercial & client outcomes.
  • Deep data literacy: You enjoy being hands on with data and can use modern BI tools and query techniques to produce insights from data, both for internal steer and customer value.
  • Thoughtful use of AI to accelerate your own efforts, balanced with attention to detail and ownership of your own work. Please include a specific example from your work in your cover letter.
  • Demonstrated experience aligning and influencing cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, and a proactive communication style.
  • Ability to think strategically and make tough prioritization decisions.
  • A growth mindset and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Passion for sustainability, clean energy, and driving positive environmental impact.

Please note that sponsorship of new applicants for employment authorization, or any other immigration-related support, is not available for this position at this time.
