What We Do The Alternate Business Line Continuity Officer (Alt-BLCO) supports the enterprise Business Continuity Management (BCM) Program by assisting with planning, communication, testing, and recovery activities for a Division. This role ensures continuity of critical operations during disruptions and assumes full Business Line Continuity responsibilities. HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE Support annual Business Continuity Management Program activities and objectives as directed by the Business Continuity Officer (BLCO). Coordinate communication during potential business interruptions Assist with operational recovery efforts Serve as Alt-BLCO designee during incidents Participate in governance, training, and testing activities Other duties as assigned WHAT YOU'LL BRING Required Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 2+ years of related experience Train and work toward BCM certification KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAs) Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal skills Self-motivated; self-starter Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond quickly to emergent problems Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Note that the following statements only apply to candidates who will be working from an unincorporated area within Los Angeles County.
