You'll Support Meaningful Work By:
- Overseeing and managing supply chain activities for specials and custom materials from preorder quote through order fulfillment, ensuring timely and costeffective execution.
- Providing strategic, analytical, and decisionmaking support for assigned supply management disciplines, projects, and special materials.
- Collaborating with suppliers, specials process teams, crossfunctional partners, and manufacturing facilities to maintain alignment and resolve issues.
- Identifying and driving lean opportunities, process improvements, and performance enhancements across the specials value stream.
- Developing, negotiating, and ensuring compliance with contractual agreements, supplier requirements, and internal standards.
- Creating, updating, and executing short and longrange strategic plans that highlight costbenefit opportunities and risk mitigation strategies.
- Tracking, analyzing, and integrating internal and external data relevant to procurement responsibilities to support accurate and informed decisions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or a related field.
- Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a fulltime basis. Steelcase will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization and/or visas for this role.

- Managing competing deliverables and navigating ambiguity with sound judgment.
- Understanding lean concepts and interpreting or creating process flows.
- Using initiative to maintain high work standards and accuracy.
- Applying negotiation skills when working with suppliers and contracts.
