Position Summary

Customer Service Representative is responsible for achieving division business objectives as well as to meet customer performance expectations and managing designated customer accounts. Interprets customer requests, investigates complaints, and clearly articulates the voice of the customers to team leads and various departments to achieve premier customer experience.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Interact daily with customers, production, logistics, and inside sales team to effectively meet Parker's customer experience.
  • Respond/ Resolve customer inquiries, including but not limited to order status, order entry, account status, and sales promotions via phone or Salesforce.
  • Process all customer orders received via EDI, PH Connect, Phone, Fax and/or Email through order entry system (MSSV) efficiently and error free
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing and Planning Team to ensure the lead times and min/max quantities of each order are acceptable for both parties
  • Coordinates with relevant functions on technical and/or quality issues, data requirements, and other business as applicable.
  • Check stock, provide availability dates and/or freight quotes upon request of the customer
  • Provide quotes using Siebel or Price Book
  • Participate in training sessions, meetings, skill building and professional development classes.
  • Maintain small to medium accounts with low-medium complexity
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Other duties or cross-functional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 2 years customer experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional departments including but not limited to Pricing, Sales, Administration, Logistics, Finance, Quality, Marketing, Distribution and Territory Managers.

Pay, Benefits, Work Schedule

Competitive Compensation

  • Pay Range: $24.73/hr to $41.22/hr
  • Participation in Annual Incentive Program
