As a Security Officer - Armed CPO Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that can help reduce security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with property staff and visitors, document observations, and respond to concerns with calm, customer-focused service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting property management and/or public emergency services as required.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
  • Control access to the property by monitoring entrances, observing visitor traffic, and assisting with vendor and delivery check-in per site procedures.
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to site leadership, and support property operations with direction and information when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1+ years' armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Possess a current CPO certification.
  • Be at least 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
