As a Security Guard - Unarmed Rover Rounds in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and support access control and incident response using a computer and/or tablet as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting facility staff with reporting and follow-up documentation.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas and the perimeter, noting unusual conditions and reporting concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow, assist with badge and/or credential checks as directed by site policy, and help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Complete routine logs and security-related reports, communicate status updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts, and support shift change briefings.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
