As an Allied Universal Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will greet team members and visitors, manage entry points, verify credentials, and support controlled access procedures. You will remain visible, conduct routine tours of assigned areas, document activity, and communicate clearly to help identify and report security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access at entry and exit points by verifying identification, issuing and collecting badges, and maintaining visitor, contractor, and employee logs.
• Coordinate with site personnel to manage vehicle and trailer access, including driver check-in, verifying delivery and pickup documentation, and directing traffic flow as assigned.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including yards, docks, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized access and report hazards or irregular conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
