Job Description




As a Security Officer Flex Armed Arrestee Transport in New Port Richey, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine mobile rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for service, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Perform armed patrol duties, including regular and random vehicle and/or foot patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter routes; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate with local public service personnel as needed.
  • Monitor access points and conduct security-related screening and/or identification checks when assigned; assist with visitor direction, queue management, and enforcement of posted site rules.
  • Document security-related activities, incidents, and patrol observations in written reports and logs; preserve scene information and maintain chain of custody for found property and/or evidence when required by site policy.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have a minimum of 2+ years' law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
  • Be at least 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
