We're looking for passionate, energetic, and responsible individuals to join our team as Summer Camp Counselors for our exciting 10-week Day Camp! As a counselor, you'll have the opportunity to work with kids, lead fun activities, and create lasting memories. Whether you're an experienced leader or looking to gain valuable skills, we want YOU to be part of our summer team. Our Summer Day Camp is June 1st-August 7th. Staff Orientation is May 26th-29th. We are now hiring for full time Camp Counselors and Assistant Camp Counselors, a part-time Summer Day Camp Attendant, and a full-time Assistant Camp Director. Job Summary/Primary Purpose: Responsible for the direct supervision of children in Summer Day Camp and KidZone with emphasis on safety and healthy activities to ensure a quality experience during the child's visit. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervisory Responsibilities: None Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred and experience working with youth 1 - 8 years old. Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position.
Other Qualifications: Must pass all applicable background checks. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must successfully complete Safe from Harm training as established by The Salvation Army.
