Job Description




As a Security Officer - Flex Dispatch Driver in Wichita, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch Officer at an aero and defense location, coordinating security-related responses, tracking activity, and supporting officers in the field. You will use computer and/or tablet tools to manage calls, document incidents, and help keep operations running smoothly with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license, where agility, teamwork, and integrity guide every shift.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service via phone and radio; coordinate officer assignments and request additional support as needed.
  • Monitor alarms, CCTV, access control, and communications systems; document activity in logs and reports per site-specific requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; relay timely updates to site leadership and/or emergency services when directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, flight line and/or production areas, and perimeter as assigned; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
